“Print” and the entire
CVG-Reno Registration W/Slot Tournament will
print out..
This
registration form is for either 1 or 2 persons playing in the slot tournament. If no one in your car wants to play…go back and
print out the other registration form.
1. All or most
of the rooms in the Nugget’s East Tower will have been remodeled in time
for the CVG and they will look
great. I have seen a finished room. If you make
reservations for an East Tower
room you will pay a bit more for it than a West Tower
room. The East Tower is closer to
the Bonanza Banquet Room, the garage and the
gambling area.
2.
Our
“Blocked Room” rates may have gone up some.. but are still cheaper than regular
rates. Sorry for the increase…but I
have no control over that.
The
Nugget has now given us the option to either:
a. Go
online and make our own room reservation by using our special group
code (see room reservation
page) or
b. Call the hotel reservation desk
and make them the old fashion way
3.
The “Slot Tournament” on Friday evening will run from 6pm till
730pm.
Info. on how it works
is in the registration form. This is the only time they will allow us to have it. This time (6pm
till 730pm) is absolute and it must start right
at 6pm and be over at 730 pm because the slot tournament MC has to leave.
4.
To be in the slot tournament you must register for it
when you pre-register for the CVG because the hotel needs to know how many
machines will be needed, etc..
NO LAST
MINUTE ADD-ONS ALLOWED!!. If you don’t think you
can be there by 530 pm on Friday night, please
DO NOT signup
for the tournament.
5.
The
CVG registration form includes an Event Registration
Fee of $118 PER PERSON which includes the slot
tournament fee for Friday evening. There is also a Slot Tournament Form
you’ll need to fill out if you plan to join in and it will have to be included
with all the other forms you need to send back to me.
6.
There is a Starbucks in the lobby,
6-7 places to eat, plus other restaurants across the street, and easy access on
and off the freeway for our poker run.
Go to http://www.janugget.com/hotel/directions.cfm
for directions, etc.
8. As always,
caravan information for those coming from different areas will be sent out
to everyone 7-10 days before the
event so those wanting to co-ordinate connecting
with others coming from or by
their area can do so.
9.
The
“Kid’s Kottage” Children’s Shelter in Reno, NV on Saturday AM will pickup all
the backpacks & school supplies that are donated by us and all donations are greatly appreciated.
We hope you’ll be able to join us for this fun weekend. Make
your room reservation NOW or ASAP because we
only 75 “Blocked” rooms at this time. It
will guarantee you a room and won’t cost anything as long as you cancel it at
least 2-3 days before the event if not coming. When our “block” drops
off (1 month before the event), the rooms go back to the public and
the rates will be about $130+. “You Snooze-You
Lose” and you will pay more. If you
do make a room reservation & have never attended a “Gathering” before,
please send me your name & email address in case I have to contact you
about any changes prior to you sending in your registration form to me… ( cvg-reno@corvettecruzin.com )
For information: Our banquet room for the CVG will be the Bonanza
Banquet Room just outside the arcade area on the 2nd floor

Children’s Shelter, Reno, NV is in dire need of School Supplies. They
need backpacks plus all kinds of school supplies (Grades 1-12). (Walmart,
Target, Kmart all have inexpensive backpacks and school supplies) We are
asking EACH PERSON to donate One Backpack full of SCHOOL
