Corvettecruzin' is dedicated to only one thing and that is putting on Fun, Social Gatherings for Corvettes
                             coming from many cities & states. So far we've had Vettes come from CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, OK, TX, UT, CO, NY, ID.
                                      Since these "Gatherings" are not put on by any sanctioned club, they are out of town for most of us,
                                    and it is impossible to get any sponsors or gifts donated by local businesses, we ask each Vette to bring
                                   at least one raffle gift for the Saturday night raffle. It doesn't have to be expensive, it goes for a good
                                     cause and we have a lot of fun. A monetary donation is made to the Assistance League of Placer County
                              which benefits children of all ages.  A better explanation of the Charities is included in the registration forms.
                                                                                          We thank you ahead of time!!!

                       Our charities are "Kid's Kottage" Children's Shelter in Reno. NV. and the Assistance League of Placer Co., Auburn, CA.
                As part of the registration fee, we ask EACH PERSON IN THE CAR to bring a kid's backpack (ages 5-18) full of School Supplies
                                         because the kids still attend the schools that they were going to before entering the shelter. 
                                                       (items needed are listed on "Charities Page" of the registration form)
                                 Kid's Kottage assists abused, abandoned or foster children who are wards of the court and approximately
                                                       82 children are living at this location at any given time for their own safety..
                                                Backpacks Full Of School Supplies Are The Priority!!!!!

                                                 Things To Know About All The "Gatherings":
                1. Each person in the car is asked to bring, as part of the registration fee, a kids (5-18 yrs old) backpack full of school supplies
                   for Kid's Kottage Children's Shelter (Kmart, Walmart, Target have inexpensive backpacks & supplies)
                2. We ask each Vette to bring an inexpensive raffle gift (proceeds go to Assistance League which benefits children) if you can afford it.
                3. All the "Gatherings" are held at John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino/Hotel in Sparks, Nevada
                       4. We have the entire top floor of the parking garage (covered) for our Corvettes only-NO PUBLIC PARKING!!!
                       5. Hotel security is hired to watch our cars on Friday & Saturday (830pm to 530am)
                       6. Friday evening-400pm until 545pm-Early check-in for weekend events, slot tournament check-in & bring backpacks.
                       7. Friday 6pm to 730pm-Our private slot tournament in Casino area.
                       8. Saturday 7am to 930am-Cast your votes for the Show & Shine, get breakfast and do item#9
                       9. Saturday 900am to 1030am in our banquet room-Poker Run check-in, driver's meeting, etc. (coffee supplied)
                      10. Saturday-approx. 1045am-Start Poker Run
                      11. Saturday evening-6pm until 10-1030pm-Our private banquet, awards ceremony, gift & 50/50 raffle, etc.
                12. Your shirts, dash plaque, name badges, maps, and weekend information about the entire weekend will be sent to you just before the event.
                13.  There will be maps in your t-shirt package for the locations of events at the hotel, etc.
