Corvettecruzin' is dedicated to only one thing and that is putting on Fun, Social Gatherings for Corvettes
coming from many cities & states. So far we've had Vettes come from CA, WA, OR, AZ, NV, TX, UT, CO, NY, ID.

Since these "Gatherings" are not put on by any sanctioned club, are out of town for most of us,
and it is impossible to get any sponsors or gifts donated by local businesses, we ask each Vette to bring
at least one raffle gift for the Saturday night raffle. It doesn't have to be expensive, it goes for a good
cause and we have a lot of fun. A monetary donation is made to the Assistance League of Placer County
which benefits children of all ages.  A better explanation of the Charities is included in the registration forms.

All The Gatherings Are....... Pre-Registered Events....
There is a registration deadline......NO LAST MINUTE DROP-INS!!!
 
 

Our main Charity is "Kid's Kottage" Children's Shelter in Reno, and as part of the registration fee, we ask EACH PERSON
attending to bring a kid's or teenager's backpack full of School Supplies
since the kids still attend the schools that they were going
to before entering the shelter. 
(items needed are listed on "Charities Page" of the registration form)
If you can also afford a toy, that would be great,
..but school supplies are the priority.
This shelter assists abused, abandoned or foster children who are wards of the court and approximately
82 children are living at this location at any given time for their own safety..

All "Gatherings" are social, carefree, casual, fun weekends which include caravans from different
locations to our hotel, a Friday night social "Gathering" in our private banquet room for drinks & chatter,
an early check-in for our Saturday AM Show & Shine and the Saturday Poker Run.
 

We have an early Saturday Morning Show & Shine (Sunrise to 9:30 am) on the parking garage 5th floor which
is covered and reserved exclusively for our Corvettes all weekend. 

Since the S&S is not
a sanctioned club event...... there are no points, politics or "judges".
The attending Corvette drivers, passengers and people staying at the hotel will "pick their favorites".
The Saturday AM Poker Run will start after the Show & Shine and as soon as the poker run check-in is complete.
The S & S awards are 1st and 2nd place in each C-Class and Custom/Modified Class that is represented.
There will also be a "Best Engine", "Best Paint" and "Best of Show & Shine" awards which will be selected
by people from the Nugget Business Office..

Another "Social Gathering" Saturday evening takes place for drinks, to buy raffle
tickets & 50/50 tickets, and at about 730 pm we have a dinner in our private banquet room.
After dinner we hand out the winning Poker Run Hands, Show & Shine Awards, have a Gift Raffle and 50/50 Raffle,
Long Distance Award, Club Par Award (3 Vettes Minimum), Corvette Club introductions and Hard Luck Award (if any).
On Sunday morning everyone heads for home unless staying another day.
